Name: Habitat Mark II The Habitat mark II builds upon the popularity of the original Habitat template. We've expanded the themes available to give you two basic variations with a total of thirteen templates in tiotal. There are fifteen modules and a great looking suckerfish menu available. We've also included the Greybox pop up viewer which is great for galleries or popping up external web pages, as well as the organic Smooth Scroll that makes the screen scroll up and down after clicking on links to anchors. Template Features: * Two different versions (light or dark) using thirteen variations with interesting background images. We've put together 13 different themes for this Bamboo Release. There are two basic types - light and dark and the habitat variations that you can see below. They include the grassy field of the original Habitat template and the basic blue, green, light and dark background. From there the Habitats become somewhat more diverse with a Sea, Space, Sunset and Orchid habitat. You canpreview each theme on the live demo. We've also built in a well rounded selection of typographical styles for you to use. There are some straightforward headings (some of which you can see on the Joomla Bamboo site at the moment) and there are some slightly more adventurous styles based on the colour scheme underpinning each theme. Once again you can see the styles on the live demo. Here is an image of the module positions available in this template. We've squeezed a whopping fifteen module positions into this template. Most of them are collapsible which means you get to put your content and modules where you want. Have a closeer look at the module positioning available ...
Use the following imodule classes as a guide for setting up the template on your site: * -top_menu will deliver a horizontal menu. For more installation instructions please visit the forum. Addons To get this template working as per the demo you need to use a few free third party Joomla plugins. To get the suckerfish drop down menu working we've used the extended menu module and the background shadow requires the Ultimate PNG fix for Internet Explorer. Grey Box Greybox is a great popup script in the vein of the lightbox phenomenon except that you can popup pretty much anything you like; single images, gallery of images, single websites or a group of websites. You need to be able to add some html code to your links in order to trigger the Greybox but beyond that its all done for you.Have a look in the forum to see some more info about implementing this popup in Joomla! Greybox link Code Example Mootools This template also includes an implementation of the mootools smoothscroll feature. This is nothing new in that they are just two anchors that connect to eachother, but it is using a javascript that to help give the site a sense of fluidity; so when you make the jump from bottom to top you see the site scroll rather than jump. This feature is an implementation of the Smoothscroll tutorial which can be found here. You can use this function in the content just by adding the following link (without spaces between elements):
